Paint (formerly Paintbrush) is a simple, ultra-basic graphics painting program that is included with almost all versions of Microsoft Windows. It provides users with a means to make simple images quickly, something which has been noticeably absent from the Mac for years. Paintbrush is a simple paint program for OS X, reminiscent of Microsoft Paint and Apple's own now-defunct MacPaint. The current version of Mac OS no longer comes with a paint program, such as MacPaint, but there are plenty of alternatives such as the free Paintbrush (See links below).
